Flight 5/5 is dressed in translucent, deep amber and crowned with a lame lace ring that is soon gone. Whoaah! The nose gets marginally smoked nuances and some chili capsaicin. 🌶️🌶️  I can even sense the spicy pepper powdery slam in my nose. Promising! Oh yeahhh!! Spicy big time! Not sure if we can talk of a balanced beer but this kicks azz. Chipotle with a faintly smoked twist lands on my tastebuds big time. Massive punch indeed! Fermented orange, apricot, peach flavored tea again (why do I have this fixation to the peach flavored tea?) and a smaller injection of graham cracker. Okay, this is an experience! The body is medium. Balance is completely lost but who cares? Chili is abundant. Overwhelming, to be honest. And that's what I like! Pervy as hell. Ends with a lingering spicy slam. Not normal. Should I call it 'innovative' or a 'failure', not sure, but I guess you get what I mean? If you want to take a walk on the wild side, try this. If pure clean styles fascinate you, stay away. Otherwise, the mouthfeel is spicy as never before, piquant, savory and zesty. P.S. Looks like the staff here is getting interested in who I am and why I visit this place often. Now a lady who works here told me that this same beer was two weeks ago much less spicy. It's interesting because L'Apaisee is not a tiny brewery, you could imagine that their production line is fairly stable. Or not. Or maybe they changed the recipe deliberately. Anyway, works for me. +0.3 extra stars for being wild. P.S.2 The owner of this place gave me a free can for takeaway. Much appreciated! It's La Maousse Tonka & Cassis which I already had but no worries, I'll enjoy it for a nightcap before I leave the country.  👍🏻
