The Orval Trappist Brewery make only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires it's hoppy aroma and extra dry taste. NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used.

Orval on tunnettu suurehkosta eräkohtaisesta vaihtelusta. Tämä satsi ei ole parasta, mutta huonompaakin Orvalia on tullut juotua. Hedelmä maistuu, mutta hiukan vaimeasti. Kyllä tämän hyvin Orvaliksi tunnistaa.

C'est celle de droite sur la photale. Robe jaune foncée marron un peu troublée mais moins que la 2019. Forte mousse épaisse et persistante. Donnant un nez très discret. Très crémeuse et ronde avec un pic d'amertume "vert et herbacé" bien soutenu. Une fin sur la pomme aigrelette encore plus marquée qu'avec celle de 2019 qui s'est arrondie je trouve. Rien à voir par rapport à ma 1re dégustation je me demande si je ne l'ai pas trop chambrée 🤔 Je recommande toujours avec du boudin noir ou du gouda au cumin 👍
