Hops are the flowers or cones of the hop plant. They are the reason your beer is bitter, citrusy, piney or fruity. Hops are grown around the world and different strains of hops have vastly varying characteristics.
This series of single-hop beers aims to showcase the unique character of some of our favourite hop varieties. The seventh instalment of this series showcases Chinook.
Chinook hops are incredibly popular in modern day brewing, they produce resinous pine aromas, combined with bright grapefruit flavours and a clean bitterness for finish.

Golden colour with a white head. Hints of pine in the aroma and flavour. Citrus flavours. Decent beer. Another good beer from this particular series from Salt Brewery.
