Good Winter Ale with a hint of spice.

Nice. Not for the faint of heart looking for a light ale as this leans towards the heavier side. The first spiced ale I've liked. Carrier reads, 'notes of molasses, dark caramel, spice and raisins'; couldn't have said it any better.

Light spices on the nose. Definitely a spiced beer. Not over the top spiced, but noticeable. So far so good. Has a lingering bitterness on the back end. Almost warms you up, not with alcohol heat, but more with the spices. Definitely a good winter beer. I enjoy this. The hop bitterness balances the spices really well. I'd get this again for sure. 4/5
