Vibrant Valencia orange, sweet marmalade, grapefruit, and Meyer lemon aromas approachably meld. Subtle caramel and malt sweeten this beer’s boldness, complemented by a hint of bitterness for a harmonious balance. A richer take on beloved Jai Alai.

Found this beer for Ryan and I to enjoy as a Duo. Seems that everybody else that reviews this beer was able to enjoy it in a tall boy. Mine is a regular 12 oz. I really like the regular brew, so expectations are high for this one.
About an inch of head that had a nice thickness to it. It has a strong sweet malt aroma. You can almost smell a hop bitterness. Texture is heavy, real heavy but clean. No sticking to the inside of the mouth or lingering flavor. Heavy but clean feeling. Flavor is an absolute malt bomb. It really does have twice the amount of flavor and malt of the regular variety. Somehow, the level of bitterness is subdued by the abundance of malt. All of the hops is pure, no citrus, no other flavors just pure hops. Sweet, bitter, malty, and still don't detect the ten percent.
This is definitely a dangerous beer. Not a beer that you would chug one after another, but you could sit back and have a few, not realizing that ten percent is going to find you. Even though I'm not an I IPA lover, I really like the intense flavor that this beer provides.
