7.2% Flavoured Porter / Pastry Porter
Brown porter loaded with roasted pumpkin puree in the mash, a great blend of homemade pumpkin pie spice and lactose (milk sugar) in the boil that gives this fall brew a great smooth finish.

It's Friday and been a long week so I'm going to have a second one tonight. This brew is from Cherry Street Brewing in Chattanooga which closed their doors permanently in January. Got some good reviews.
A thin showing of deep tan head. Color is totally opaque brown, no light shining through in any part of the glass. That's deep for a porter. Aroma is like going into a Kirkland's home store, where the cinnamon brooms dominate the air throughout the store. Now the texture is as you would expect from a porter, thin considering the extremely dark color it has. Comes across both crisp and dry. Smooth, warming, and relaxing. Taste seduces with a semisweet flavor that's peppery, cinnamon powder and autumn spice. The finish adds a bread or cookie dough quality and just an exhaling breath of clove.
The goal of making a pumpkin pie porter has an influence on my taste buds, and it does have many of those characteristics. The longer I sip on this dessert porter, the more I'm enjoying it. I would recommend it but.......
