We’ve invested quite a bit of time to brew beers with umami from various sources. The scale is from subtle to extreme and we’ve gotten pretty positive feedback of them all. This release is our house Imperial Stout base with added freeze dried porcini mushrooms. The umami from the mushrooms plays very well with the thick Imperial Stout base. This beer also showcases our vision where we want to bring new aspects to pretty much everything we do.
