I've had this beer before at SOTS this last summer. Brought it back from Texas about 9 months ago and thought I would give it a try. Rating is about the same except I did not expect it to erupt from the can the way it did. I did not shake it or anything. Kaboom!

Fourth entry in the SOTS competition for Impress the Beer Master. An amber which is tough since it's one of my favorites.
A very deep brownish copper color, totally clear. Not sweet and no roasted qualities. Nice flavor in that it gives you more malt and a small amount of hop citrus in the background. The Hop quality continues into the finish with an IPA type bitterness. Pretty good beer.
