All the good things you want from a big stout, minus any roast. There’s chocolate and fudge in abundance, but crucially it’s ain’t too sweet. It’s just right. There’s medium to full body and a silkiness but it remains easy drinking. There’s a hint of warmth and spice in the background, but not much. What it lacks in true complexity and breadth of flavours it makes up for in decadence. A hint of roast or smoke would elevate this but I’m not complaining at all, nice beer 👍
