This was supposed to be a lighter beer after a few big pastry stouts but it packs a serious punch, very robust and flavourful. There’s mainly chocolate and digestive biscuit with a smooth roastiness. Hints of burnt coffee. A big mouthfeel just lends to the feeling this beer should be stronger than it is. I think this would be great in cask format
