A perfect beer for Halloween night and also to wash away the memory of that Wrath of Hops. A nicely balanced fruit beer with complex spice notes. Elysian brews a nice seasonal here. Worth a try.

Pumpkin, cloves, and cinnamon mostly from the aroma. Taste has pumpkin first. Following this, I'm getting some light cinnamon. This is actually quite bland compared to most pumpkin beers I've had recently. The pumpkin is done really well in this one, but the lack of other flavors to help compliment this beer is a bit disappointing. Pumpkin by itself is pretty bland. This is probably the best pumpkin beer I've tasted, for the pumpkin flavor. That being said, the spices give this type of beer it's real flavor, and without (much) of that, this beer is pretty unremarkable. 3/5 The spices show up more as this warms, but still nothing incredible, yet a noticeable improvement. 3.5/5

Reminds me of Shipyards pumpkin head ale which I really like! I love pumpkin beers a lot!
