Sweet with plum flavours. Reasonable Porter but have had better porters of a similar flavour.

Disappointing. I had this previously out of bottle and it was very good. From cask it seemed a bit watery. The plum flavours are there, it just lacked depth. In bottle was 6,8% whereas from cask it was only 5,2%...

Very unique plummy overtones that remain subtle throughout. What is at the forefront though, is a robust and very strong flavoured porter. My initial mouthful tasted like an imperial stout, it’s a full bodied porter that’s for sure...

Captures flavour of dried fruit, spices & citrus well. Not overly sweet as might expect for a Xmas pudding beer. Treacely smooth yet quite thin mouthfeel
