A heady flavour from a combination of mixed malts, carefully and skillfully mixed by hand. Full bodied.

I have got a 12th Night celebration with Mid Glamorgan CAMRA at the Bunch of Grapes in Pontypridd but I'm starting out early and calling in a couple of pubs on the way. Starting off with this traditional strong bitter from Rhymney Brewery. It has subtle malts and is a little hoppy. Not bad but it could have more of a flavour.

A decent beer with a nice malt backbone, subtle hops and a bitter finish.

Rich golden colour with thick, foamy white head. Not a lot of carbonation with smooth mouthfeel. I'm not getting much aroma or any strong flavours but that could very well be my rusty taste buds. Overall a smooth luxurious feeling beer, very nice.

Great old fashioned ale this. Hints of coffee. Very smooth and moreish. A triumph.
