Seasonal Xmas Ale with a not overly rich fruity & spicy, malt flavour & a slightly bitter end

This is good. It’s a Weatherspoons Xmas choice and I have to say it’s the best choice on. 5% dark ale and it has a bit of a Xmas spice taste which I love, almost like someone is squashing a mince pie in the bottom before they hand it to me, absolutely fine by me. I usually don’t have more than one pint of a particular brew in spoons as there is so much choice but I did order a second one of these. 👍 £2.10 per pint, love a spoons.

Decent bitter, very sweet

I always enjoy otter ales and this is no exception. Nice and tasty and a decent session beer despite the 5% abv.
