Golden Promise base with chocolate, brown, crystal and Carafa malts. East Kent Goldings in the boil for a background hop bitterness. Dark brown colour, with a ruby red hint in the light. Aromas of brown sugar, chocolate, caramel and coffee. Medium roasted bitterness and body with a subtle sweet linger.

Christmas porter. The head disappeared in an instant. Aroma: Licorice, metall, slightly roasted malts. Taste: Pretty good flavors, very light though. Malty with some roastiness. Towards raisins/plums, but not much. Dry cocoa powder. Less licorice than in the aroma, but a hint. Merry christmas!
