
Originally, we developed this beer in collaboration with @foppaa for food pairing. However, it turned out a bit too rich and dominant for their dishes. Though we went back to the drawing board for them, we couldn’t let go of this recipe.
This is a unique sour beer where the tartness is derived from sour malt and cranberries, offering a more harmonious balance than typical kettle soured beers. It’s often pleasantly received, even by those who usually shy away from sour beers.
Boasting a robust 8.2% ABV, it’s infused with Finnish cranberries and heather. This beer stands splendidly on its own, but its acidity also makes it a fantastic companion for rich, fatty dishes like creamy pasta or a cheeseboard.
