Golden ale with Golding hops, Hengist is a sweet & reasonably strong 5% bitter. It's real ale, possibly unlike the mythical Hengist, the conquering King of Kent.

Golden pale ale that has flavours of biscuit malt balanced with a long fruity hop.
Full flavoured with a smooth malt base and a crisp, hoppy, bitter aftertaste.
Strong at 5% but very drinkable.

Golden coloured ale, some head, malty biscuit aroma. First taste, malty sweet, some hoppiness, slightly fruity. Ok, but a bit sweet for my taste!
