Luscious complexion, deep and opaque, it had head from a hard pour but has fizzed out. On the nose is a head aroma of alcoholic stone fruit with some citrus and tropics. Clocking in at 10% your bound to get some booze, though it's not a prerequisite as the legendary Chubbles proves. In the mouth it's typical Polly's with a smooth creamy feel, silky and thick like single cream. Full bodied and a strong long finish, it's a big boy alright. The flavour is pretty hardcore despite there being no mention of a double or triple dry hop. Satsuma, peach, mango, apricot, grapefruit, pineapple and sweet pine resin attack your tongue with richness but not exactly saturated in hops. Enough to cover the lions share of the alcohol taste, it's more a case of knowing and feeling it's there and the taste making the hops flavours tang and stab a bit more than usual. Big and decadent, demand and deserves respect. Whilst not being outstanding, any TIPA done right is going to be big and bold, and this one was done right as I'd expect from Polly's, one of my favourite brewers.

Beautiful label from this collaboration between Polly's and Arpus. Orange cloudy robe. It looks thick. Not much foam. Smell is very fruity. Punchy and sweet mango and pineapple aroma. Taste is great, sweet and bitter. Very citrusy, orange juice aroma with the bitterness of the peel. Peach and mango aroma as well. Pineapple notes. Very nice mouthfeel, tasty and creamy. Persistent with lovely bitterness.
