Midweek brew with first taste of Alpine Beer Company bottle I got from an bottle box. The name offers a great experience.
Mandarin Nectar, kinda tuned down aroma with citrus, malts, some honey and some orange.
The mouthfeel is pretty lagerlike. A bit full and malty straight up with medium carbonation, continuing up with more malts and citrus and honey also popping up....and thats it. A bit yeast and a hint of orange in finish, and having a medium bitter and dry aftertaste. This is very easily drinkable, but oh so boring. There's literally no bursts of mandarin I was expecting. Light body and pretty watery. Drinkable but sadly not good. 3/5
