This dusty demolition/renovation day requires something exceptional. And surely excessive. Like diabetes behind the corner.
The beer starts phenomenal: the appearance is like superthick peach smoothie. Deep warm yellow with loads of cream. Incredible! The carbonation is reasonable. A yellow head emerges on the top up to one finger's yardstick but vanishes hastily to zero.
Next the scent. I can imagine it even without a first inhale. But I surely take a deep breath: banana milkshake, tons of cream, copious vanilla and lactose. Crumbly shortcrust pastry is evident in the biscuity maltbill. This is unreal!
Vanilla merges with banana milkshake on the tastebuds. Creamy overload! Lactose is obvious also in this stage. I pick nuances of nectarine and persimmon in the distance. The cerealy skeleton is not as sturdy anymore as in the fragrance but the impression is still like shortcrust pastry. The modest alcoholic tang is a surprise factor in the background, it gives a pungent twist to the tastebuds to work with.
The body feels big. It's heavily adjuncted, therefore it's difficult to assess the body in isolation of the many other garbling parts. The end is still ice-creamy and milkshakey, the alcoholic vibe probably declines marginally towards the end. Want to live like the world's on fire; want to love like hearts don't break; nevеr look down when walking the wire; likе the aftertaste made it to the big day, still made my birthday cake.
The mouthfeel is full, thick, massively creamy and milkshakey. It's also a tad pungent amidst all the softness. Very unbeery. Playful, if described with one word.
