Irish Hello, United States
3.9
Ryan and I have been saving this Duo beer from Saint Arnold's 🍻that is an Irish Stout. Perfect for St Patty's 🍀🍀 Day. It's only 4.3% and is intended to be a very drinkable Stout. Really high head on the initial pour but it calmed down pretty quickly. Aroma from the can was a deep hard roasted coffee. Once in the glass it became much more mellow with a touch of sweetness. Flavor is mild, expected for a beer brewed to be easy drinking. Deep malt, coffee, semi-sweet and soft texture. Finish turns dry as sand while retaining all of the previous flavors. Can't really find much fault in a beer when they accomplished what they were trying to do. An easy drinking, enjoyed in volume Stout is what they made. As a drinkable beer, they did a pretty good job but as to overall flavor it was too mild to give it a strong rating. This time next year I should be in Ireland 🇮🇪 at Edgeworthstown, my ancestral village. 💚 Would love to spend St Patrick's Day in Temple Bar.

Irish Hello, United States

Irish Dry. Solide.
