
Subtle peppery rye malt, warm fermented to increase its fruity character, offset by a blend of citrus dominant hops, then finished for a lengthy period in Speyside Whisky barrels to create a wonderfully complex ale.

Très bien équilibrée entre un houblon plutôt agrume et un whisky corsé qui reste discret. Il y a un côté poivre piquant et le tout ce termine en bouche sur de la céréale torréfiée !

Deep red colour with a woody and slightly peppery aroma.
The strength is obvious but gentle and the whisky barrel ageing gives a lovely smoothness. This one is well balanced.
Gentle supping is required, not one for troffing.
