A Duo beer with Ryan, some leftover Clown Shoes from the 12 Beers of Christmas. One we've never had.
Has an amber color with a small fog of haze. Not much head either. Malty aroma, citrusy, and a hint of sourness that reminds me of an old attic. First sip has the sweet malt of an amber, pasteurized honey, and lemon peel on the pithy side. The finish undergoes a complete transformation. A pine resin hits the back of the tongue, it's both sour and very acidic. The lemon citrus becomes very bitter.
I might sound more harsh than it really is. I loved the beginning, the cross between an Amber and a citrus flavor. But I did not enjoy the finish. Maybe it's that dank quality. A decent beer but I will not reach for another one.

Djup fyllig och maltig.
Fina humletoner och tydligt beska.

Fin beska och det lyfter poängen. Annars bra överlag i klassisk ton.
