Vegan friendly Slaughterhouse Stout. Vanatblack and bone char intones dwell within this remnant hulk....an electro narcosis of peat smoke pitch, dark cocoa and oiled black cardamom, rib rattle into subtle bolt gusts of port wine and espresso pursued by a dark cherry red grape skin tartness.

The name suggests an old Iron Maiden song but oh is it good. Smells like detergent but get past that and it's a lovely beer if you like proper Boks. No imitation here it bites your throat off.

Complex Imperial from Wylam, smokey, spicy and warm from the alcohol, not one for the session!

Great, I've had this a number of times when up 'the toon' I'm guessing this is a marmite beer. It's described as a vegan friendly Stout (although it's hardly the kind of label that would lure vegans in). In the tradition of Wylam it mentions nothing of the incredibly smokey peaty flavours within, it's also got hints of dark chocolate, spice and a slight tartness, fairly complex really, if you were expecting a bog standard stout you'd be in for a shock!!
