No matter how quickly and often we brew our flagship NEIPA Heathen, we struggle to stop it disappearing from our shelves, and it’s always a bit of an occasion when it’s back. Features the classic tropical fruit riot of Citra and Mosaic, plus a touch of peppery pine from Columbus.

Northern Monk | HeatheN | Hazy IPA
Leeds, Yorkshire….
….ist die Heimat dieses 7,2%igen Hazy IPA, bzw NEIPA, das für die Heiden gebraut wird.
Mönch. Heide, Hazy. Ich bin gespannt.
Sehr hazy, sehr hellgelb und sehr viel langanhaltender, klebriger Schaum sind die ersten optischen Eindrücke, die dann beim Heranführen des Bieres an die Nase von Limette, Citrus, und Pinienaromen geruchlich unterstrichen werden.
Geschmacklich bleibt es voll auf dieser Linie. Tropische Früchte, wie Limette, Mango, Zitrone, Pomelo und Grapefruit werden durch die harzige Pinie bei weicher Textur und geringer Karbonisierung ergänzt. Die 7 2% Alkohol sind spürbar, stehen aber nicht im Vordergrund.
Fruchtig, harzig und nur ein wenig bitter schließt es dann ab.
Für mich sehr süffig.

I used to love a can of Lilt (now Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit). This is a grown up version of that…..I love Northern Monk beers. Always winners 🙌 🥳
