We proudly present a barrel-aged beer for our Proeftuin members. We barrel aged Proeftuin #4 Tarwewijn on XXO Cognac barrels for 6 months. The result is a beautiful wheat wine with aroma’s of white wine, raisins and fruit. Taste notes are malty sweet, spicy wood, honey, figs, kiwi, biscuit, nutmeg, lavender and pear. The wood also gave our wheat wine a slightly darker colour. This beer is truly a milestone for Hertog Jan. For the love of beer!
