Ruismaltaisen täyteläinen ja suodattamaton meripihkan värinen maukas tuttavuus.

Looks a bit cloudy but I guess this is actually translucent. The color is raisin brown. The carbonation is obedient although not exceptionally tame. Yet, a bold creamy head rises higher and higher until it touches four fingers. Just when the froth had reached the peak, it starts to dwindle, first slowly but then faster. A relatively thick lacing covers the top.
Malt-forward scent. Amber malt, no big surprise, I guess. A bit bready and crackery. Overall, somewhat mild, I would say.
The taste is equally malt-forward. However, the package is surprisingly thin. I do pick malt, maybe amber, but also bready elements. Grassy hops in the background.
The body is light to light-medium. The finish is grassy, malty and faintly piney.
Feels light-medium, moderately crisp, effervescent and drying but also a tad lackluster.
A Dark Lager that could easily go for an Amber Lager. As a Dark Lager, I'd give 2.9. As an Amber Lager, I'd be generous with 3.4. The average yields 3.15, rounded to 3.2. So be it.
