This delicious, but stubborn West Coast DIPA has not cleared up like ‘traditional’ ones and is naturally a bit hazy. But still has the soul of a true modern West Coast IPA. It has plenty of fruitiness and a clean malt base. We find orange marmalade, mango and grapefruit with some heavy dank notes as well as some good old pine and resin. There's only Weyermann Pilsner in the grain bill, which results in a clean and subtle malt base that allows the hops to shine. Columbus and Citra on the hot side, followed by a big dry hop with Simcoe, Cascade Cryo, and Waimea.
