Haven't been here for a while. Time to do a traditional two smallie-wallies. Beer #1 is considerably darker, turbid, deep orange, almost light copper. The head is short-lived, off-white and leaves horizontal patterns on the glass. Strawberry hits my nose first. Whaaat?? I associate strawberry with Strata that is supposed to be in the next beer, not obviously in this one. Or can't tell, I can't find the hop data now anywhere. Candy, bubblegum, mango, banana and nectarine complete the package. Overripe fruity and jam-like but, for some peculiar reason, not uninviting. The taste gears even more overripe, distinctly canned and definitely loses freshness, if any in the first place. Canned mandarin, apricot, orange peel, at least, land on my tongue. A boozy tang lingers in the mouth. Resin joins the show. What did I say about the "uninvitingness"...? I'm starting to experience it now. The body is medium-full. Not bad for the ABV. The end is highly resinous, alcohol still refuses to put its head down. The fruits remain pretty much the same. The tip of the tail is tangy, a tad chemical. The mouthfeel is medium-full, overripe, jam-like, somewhat tangy. Starts fine but doesn't end well. I expected better.

Hanasta. Täyteläinen hedelmäinen dipa. On kyllä hyvä mutta ei suuresti eroa muista. Hukkuu vähän massaan.

Ekalla puraisulla tuli aika paljon kaikkea, eli makua löytyy. Havuinen, lievästi hedelmäinen olut. Ei kovinkaan raikas, ennemminkin varttuneen makuinen jos se nyt kertoo mitään. Prosentit ei maistu. Jälkimaussa pientä viherrystä. Ihan ok kokonaisuus, mutta ei herätä suuria tunteita.

Voi morjens. Kannatti maistaa. 8% ja paras IPA mitä oon maistanut.

Ruskeanoranssista ja sameaa. Kepoinen ja pienikuplainen vaahto. Tuoksu makean, runsahkon ja kypsän trooppisen hedelmäinen (persikkaa, aprikoosia, ananasta) ja viljainen. Maku runsahkon, makean ja (yli)kypsän trooppisen hedelmäinen (appelsiinia, ananasta, passionhedelmää, persikkaa, aprikoosia), makean maltainen ja viljainen, pihkainen ja kevyen karamellinen sekä selkeän humalaisen katkera. Hyvät, runsahkot ja tasapainoiset, mutta hieman tylsät maut. Suutuntuma on keskitäyteläinen ja hiilihappoinen. Maukas, lopulta melko monipuolinen ja jonnekin rannikoiden väliin asettuva DIPA. Ihan mukavaa ja miellyttävää juotavaa, vaikka pienoinen pettymys olikin.

This is fruity/tropical/juicy that leans towards orange, overly ripe mango and pineapple (both). Has a dank taste to the fruit. Taste lingers in the mouth. Bitterness is medium. Yummy.
