Bottle share with my mother-in-law last night. She loves stouts and porters so saved this for her. She was surprised to have traveled all the way from Latvija to them sample a beer brewed an hour away from her house 😂 Really hefty and not really a pastry stout in the sense that I’d know. Roasty and deep malt character. Chocolate comes through with a hint of bitterness. Boozy and full bodied.
