Bought two of these and kept this one for just over a year. It’s developed a more rounded body with a slightly burnt caramel sweetness, worth keeping for a year.

Very sweet and a little thin on body but it is only 2.8, very drinkable.

I love this. Picked it up from the Harvey's brewery shop in Lewes, and have been looking forward to it.
It pours thick and dark and has a perfect sweet stout aroma and taste. I could drink this all day.

Feels like winter even though it's autumn - time for....Stout😀.
I really wanted to like this more. It's not bad, it's just not, well, much! Maybe I've just been spoilt by so many stronger tasting stouts in recent times that my expectations are for something fuller-tasting. Maybe I'm not being fair and should take it for what it is - a traditional, light sweet stout. I suppose in that way it fits the bill - it's light and drinkable, but still with the look of a stout and a subtle slightly burnt aftertaste. At 2.8% it slips down easily, and the more I taste it the more I like the light, sweet taste. In fact, I'm going to raise by half a star before I've even posted. The power of beer.
