Once on the top, the only way is down. Time to change the style. And call it a day. Therefore a dessert beer. Opaque, deep dark brown beer resembles liquid chocolate. Looks awesome! Carbonation is naturally limited but a neat tan lace ring adorns the top long. Massive milk chocolate, some dark chocolate, vanilla in the air... pouring chocolate ganache and mudcake dominate big time. Strawberry jam follows... Does it? No layers, at least in the scent but very rewarding. Thick sips. Not as lip-glueing as I thought. Still, abundant dark chocolate, less milk chocolate — interestingly the order has changed — cacao nibs of course, a whisper of vanilla, toasted marshmallow and a distant hint of some Christmas spice. Clove? The ABV is a killer but, interestingly, it doesn't taste at all. It feels but doesn't taste. I call it 'dangerous'. The body? What do you think? Full. Absolutely. Not the biggest of the big but full anyway. The finish is full as well, chocolatey and lip-glueing, desserty like there's no tomorrow. Pretty long-lived, too. The mouthfeel is full, sticky, desserty, thick, mouthcoating, deep but not particularly rich. Warming in a very attractive way. Lovely. Solid expertise but layers are missing. A good way to indeed call it a day. 🖤🤎🖤
