The small glass doesn't help but it is a big foamy pour from the bottle. Body carries a tonne of carbonation as lots of bubbles scuttle up the glass. The body is a hazy straw yellow with some sediment in the glass. A nice off white head, two fingers worth, is present and remains strong. It's difficult to get much scent through the foam. Some harsh bitter malts, indistinct, some barley, generic citrus hops and a soapy finish. Mouthfeel is good, a nice harmony of fizz and foam, very vibrant in the mouth with a coating in the mouth afterwards. Taste is a little sweet citrus at that beginning, then the malts roll in and dominate, bitter and dry at first, then some lager or Munich hops filter through. It's a very bitter ipa that probably leans closer to a regular pale but it's not bad.
