Pale coloured brew with zero head and no visible bubbles in a tall glass. Sweet and dank tropical fruit aroma, mostly pineapple, mango, lemon sherbet and lime piff.
Soft and thick mouthfeel with full body and a long tangy finish with herbal bitterness that increases in intensity and overshadows the initial New Zealand subtropics. Funky and dank pineapple but not sweet on the tongue. It's a strong spikey taste and the tongue tingles. No weed-like dankness really instead it favours pine, as you'd expect from an American brew. I expect the triple dry hop process is what's behind the intensity of flavour. So needless to say the 8% ABV is completely covered.
More liquid hop than a fruit juice bomb, its hops in an explicit manner.
Time serves this brew well, helping to round out the spiked edges whilst the hops remain very strong. This isn't my favourite extreme hop brew that's for sure, but how could you dislike a beer this pure.
