Not a bad budget porter. Malty with slight hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Slightly thin, but not bad at all.

Really nice, smooth dark ale

A decent tasting Porter style black ale brewed for Lidl. Malty flavour, 4.5% in a 500ml although the toffee, coffee or smokiness notes described on the label are not that apparent but there is a decent off-white head on the beer once poured.

Very strong roasted malts, dry slightly bitter, eased into it though. Not bad. Judge’s label: Would have another.
