One for the road. At home though. The pour is turbid, deep garnet. The extroverted carbonation puts forward a cloud-white cotton head that exceeds two fingers and dissolves rushedly to a gossamer lace ring. Raspberry mash in the air. So natural! Basically not sweet at all, rather a tad sour. Licorice is the sweet version and somewhat sidelined. Blueberry pie, biscuit and shortcrust pastry seal the deal gently. Deep intensive flavors on the tastebuds. Raspberry mash is surprisingly sour. The licorice can, interestingly, be both sweet and salty. I mean here. I can still spot blueberry pie, blackberry, probably some wheat bun, but no biscuit, not shortcrust anymore. Toffee is absent just like it's absent in the scent. The body is medium to medium-full. The finish serves bowls of sour raspberries and blackberries, mashed and mixed. Toffee sweet and tight; we sit under my sunblind; there's no argues and fight; just the aftertaste and delight. The mouthfeel is medium-full, thick, deep, mashy, very tart and puckering. Acidity is oppressed. Very gardeny and rich in berries. Nevertheless, not as desserty as I was hoping for, mainly because of the lack of toffee and other sweeter flavors.

🤤🤤🤤 voihan helv... Nyt on vadelmaa ja jännästi tulee lopussa viipyvää lakristia pienellä toffeen pehmeydellä. Pelkäsin että toffee on hallitsevä ja on öglö makee souri. Mutta ei tää on taattua Cool Head settiä.

Coolheadin pastry sour toffeella, vadelmalla ja laktrisilla höystettynä. Coolheadin laku-sourit ollut aina itselle toimivia eikä nytkään tullut siihen poikkeusta. Runsaasti makeaa vadelmaa ja suolaista lakua, tämä kombo kyllä toimii. Toffee jää tässä vähemmälle roolilla, ehkä tuo sellaista suolaista makeutta mukaan. Hapan, runsas ja aika täyteläinen, makua riittää hyvin. Hyvä sour jälleen kerran, mutta ehkä tältä odotti vielä vähän enemmän.
