Lerwick IPA 5.0%, Lerwick Brewery, Scotland
16 notes
3.4
Lerwick IPA
5.0% India Pale Ale
Bottle from Lakes & Dales co-operative, Seaton Delaval. Hazy amber-brown coloured with a large white head of foam. It has a malty and toffee flavour with a fruity, nutty and smooth earthy finish. Ok, but not an IPA.

Fruity, hoppy and nicely dry. Well balanced and overall a rather nice beer. Not sure about the gay ponies on the pumpclips though!

Really enjoyable IPA. Hoppy and citrusy just how I like it.

Nice IPA but has a fruity, maybe caramel and herb flavour. Not one for heavy drinking

It’s ok for an IPA however I feel there is a weird after taste and I can’t think what it could be.
