The Orval Trappist Brewery make only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires it's hoppy aroma and extra dry taste. NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used.

Orval on todellinen creme de la creme, harvalukuisten trappistipanimoiden joukossakin erikoisuus. Runsas vaahto on "ikuinen", maku hiivainen ja lambic-tyyppinen mutta aivan omanlaisensa. Nuorna miesnä Brysselissä menetin tälle sydämeni oitis. Nostalgiaa ehkä, mutta minulle tämä on maailman paras olut.
