A beer I found from Savannah Georgia to share with Ryan. Never heard of this brewery before. Dark brown translucent and clear. Small head that doesn't last. Aroma is sweet dark malt with a whiff of coffee. Soft smooth texture. A deep roasted bittersweet coffee arrives early with only traces of dark chocolate in the background. Effervescence which appeared to be gone re-emerges in the mouth with a light tingling sensation. As the finish arrives the coffee turns heavily charred. A strong hop bitterness lingers when the other flavors fade. Reminds me of a citrus IPA hop bitterness. Altogether, well-balanced that blend together, none fighting each other. Good.
