Fuggle-Dee-Dum

been nearly a year since I last tried this one. Hasn't changed, thankfully, and is still a good session ale. nice malty aroma and taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. subtle sweetness to finish but enjoyable. slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. smooth and easy drinking session ale

After a few lighter drinks it's nice to be on the darker side. Nice malty aroma and taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. And Dartford Dave this is what I had instead

I was actually surprised how dark this was, pleasingly so and the taste? Full of strong but not overly sharp hops, lots of flavour but very clean on the palate. A beautifully balanced beer. As a Hampshireman, it’s good to know those folks overseas on the Isle of Wight can brew beer of this quality.
