Not a huge fan of bitters but gave this one a try. Description doesn’t lie and it’s double barrelled and probably quite nice if you like bitters.

A bit strong but it's alright

Pours a dark golden colour with pretty much no head. Bitter, rich and malty. Tastes like a much darker ale than it actually is.

Maybe because I've spent all day doing admin work at my mum's but I think this is one of the best beers I've ever tasted. Cheers!

The least shite of my 8 bottle Harvey's Christmas selection pack gets a underwhelming one and a half stars... Tastes like malty, overly sweet disappointment ..

Lovely stuff. Dark, malty and smooth. Real proper ale.
