Alright, this happens to be on my way back to the hotel. Good excuse, right? The beer wears a misty orange gown. Carbonation is somewhat oppressed and manages to create a regular head of less than one finger on the surface. Short retention pulls the head down to a thin lace ring. Orange and tangerine feature in the scent. Do I also get some canned apricot bits? Like a fruit salad basically. The taste identity is not particularly fresh, somewhat like canned fruits whose best before is approaching. Apricot, mandarin, orange, those typical fruits you can find canned in supermarket shelves. The hopping gets confused with yeast on the tongue. Messy. The body is light to light-medium. The finish is canned fruity and, hence, slightly stuffy. A dry-hoppy twist prevails in the mouth for some time. The mouthfeel is light, tropical but unfortunately relatively stuffy and a bit heavy. 'Fresh' is not the word I'd use here. The best before seems to be on 30 November 2023. Anyway, not a huge success this one. Resembles many bulky Finnish "NEIPAs" with such characteristics.
