Decent stout from a great brewer, lots of chocolate flavours, a wee bit thin for me.

Surprisingly fizzy for a stout is my first thought! Taste wise it’s good, sweet and chocolatey, slightly bitter at the end, it’s really nice actually

Chocolate to the fore and a reasonable stout.

Chocolate Stout brewed by Thornbridge for Lidl. 4.5% in a 440ml can. A good balance of smoothness and bitterness, a decent tasting stout. Nice malty, coffee, vanilla and chocolate notes.

Very mid. This stout just lack umph and taste. Compared to the coffee stout last night this definitely falls short of it. The chocolate taste is week and lacks excitement, compared to other chocolate stouts I have had before this is definitely the worst so far. Although this could be because it is out of a can and I'm not too sure how old it is as it was a Christmas present. If it comes on tap it may be improved but this was mid overall. As it is Christmas I will drink it and enjoy it, would not order again.
