Vastenmielisen näköistä. Maku kuitenkin ihan OK tälle oluttyypille. Vaahto ja hiilihapot on kyllä johonkin kadonneet. Eipä taida tulla tästä vakiotäytettä ostoskassiin..

Two days to the expiry date. Heavily discounted, of course. Let's see how the time has treated this Blanche. The beer appears impenetrable orange. Like juice. Carbonation behaves well, not too aggressive, nor particularly shy. The foamy cap falls short of one finger and melts fast to a gossamer lace ring. Astonishingly juicy scent. Orange pulp is copious, accompanied by distinct coriander seed. Wheat and biscuit merge with a suggestion of yeast. Fresh. Nothing, at least in the fragrance, indicates that this is next to retirement. The tongue likes the lush coriander seed that tries to dominate the citruses like lemon zest and pith, orange peel, rather thin orange juice and a hint of passionfruit. Wheat malt is appealingly fresh, no sign of mustiness at all. Maybe some yeast features in the background. The body rates light to light-medium. The finish is citrusy whereas the coriander seed retreats to the shadows now. The chandeliers that the aftertaste hurts, behind my back; shine its name in the laughter; Blanche, you hurt. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, somewhat pulpy, moderately pithy and attractively refreshing. It's also slightly dry and equally drying. This beer is almost done in terms of the best before but there's nothing that would indicate the age. Therefore, +0.3 stars extra.
