Pours straight up black. Dark chocolate on the nose. Hell, dark chocolate all the way thru from initial hit on the tongue to the finish. Solid mouthfeel without being oily. Delicious.

First full day on my Texas trip. Second beer during the playoffs. Absolutely black in color on the pour. Aroma screams Bourbon. Then a sweet dark stone fruit. As expected, that first sip is a powerful blast of alcohol, distinctly barrel aged Bourbon. Makes the inside of my mouth tingle with sweet raisins and chocolate. Even gives my throat a burning sensation and warms all the way down. This is an exceptional beer. From first to last enjoyable.
