Doublon IPA aux 3 houblons américains: Citra, Galaxy, Talus… ronde et longue.

This 250ml pocket rocket is bursting with flavour! Like a concentrated Robinson squash it's a tiny can with alot of flavour! 8% too I'm not complaining. Fruity with a hoppy punch. Would recommend.

Quite pale golden amber colour on this, with half opaque haze and only remnants of a head. Deep and dank tropical aroma and that familiar tank of a DIPA. BBNo Md Cloudwater... looking forward to this... Soft in the mouth with surprising carbonation, finally big body and a alcohol coming through with the finish. Pineapple is fairly strong with grapefruit, mango and heat from the 8% ABV, which is a little disappointing but not unheard of for a DIPA. It could be thicker, could be juicier, could be smoother and silkier. It's not what Cloudwater would make solo i feel. Could be the nature of this collab, clashing two worlds and (Bermondsey neighbours) together. It is nice though, that pineapple and mango flavour is soft and pleasant and it's drinkable yet hefty, you don't forget what your drinking. Saying that, the alcohol becomes less noticeable as the flavours develop and you climatize to it. In fact, this beer definitely improves over time as is often the case.
