Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #8 Bottled on 12-9-2021 Bourbon, notes of dark fruits, chocolate and oak in the aroma. Taste has chocolate first, followed by bourbon, dark fruits and oak. Same as the aroma, but with the chocolate coming first. The oak really lingers in the aftertaste. The body is full with an appropriately low amount of carbonation. Regular Expedition Stout is already a wonderful beer. Bourbon barrel aged Expo is phenomenal. The other bourbon barrel aged variants are amazing. Just a great beer all around. High 4.5/5

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #14 Bottled 12-9-2021 Bourbon, chocolate and some dark fruits in the aroma. Taste has chocolate, bourbon, roasted malts and dark fruits. The body is full and mouth coating with an appropriately low amount of carbonation. Aging well so far. High 4.5/5
