Full day of Saturday football. Pulling for my son-in-law's Texas A&M Aggies. Of course, I have to drink a beer from a very good Saint Arnold, Houston Texas Brewery.
Has a very heavy and foamy head. Has a bit of an orange tint. Color is a copper Orange with misty haze. Texture is smooth and very soft. Has the expected bitterness from the hops, tart but not overbearing especially for a double IPA. Tropical fruit flavors, mango, guava in turns a little toward lemon in the finish. Very refreshing. Plenty of flavor.
Added note: very late in the finish the 9.2% alcohol arrives with a very warm feeling in the back of the throat. Well hidden until then.
