First time I'd seen this bottled, or at all! A dark red and unfiltered bottle conditioned ale with a little yeast sediment. Slight foamy yellow head retention though I did pour it with care. Equal aromas of caramel and traditional hops. A fairly smooth drink with notes of caramel, date and roasted malt and a slight touch of bitterness.

Pours a deep amber colour with a white head. Malty aroma and flavour. Average beer. JDW Real Ale Festival Autumn 2022.
