The 26th edition of Vintage Ale combines the UK classic hop, Bramling Cross with a younger variety, Emperor. Bramling Cross brings dark berry notes and some hints of spice, whilst the Emperor adds a strong citrus character which overlaps well with the hints of citrus from Bramling Cross. At its heart, Pale Ale and Caragold malts combine with DRC® a double roasted crystal malt to deliver toffee and raisin sweetness. All complemented, as ever, by the zesty marmalade character of our famous Fuller's yeast.

Lovely deep caramel flavours and a truly awesome ale. Delicious and well worth the expense.

Excellent rich traditional ale. You can smell the spice and citrus notes and a hint of cherry brandy as soon as you open the bottle. The flavours are deep and complex. Would be great with a strong cheese, fruitcake or nice cigar. Have to enjoy this beer over time

A deep ruby colour with a light head. Sherry aromas. Sherry flavour too, with raisin and toffee notes. Can taste every bit of the 8.5%, but a few sips in it’s working its magic already. Strong, but an elite aged ale for sure. By the end this is ruby liquid gold. Judge’s label: Elite

Vacker färg, kraftigt skum. Fruktig smak. Nypon och mörkt bröd.
